William E. Gonzalez, 84, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Enrique and Coszma (Rivera) Gonzalez. He was the loving husband of Santa Ana (Mercado) Gonzalez.

William was raised in Brooklyn, NY, and later made Lancaster, PA his home for the remainder of his life. He cherished his beloved wife, Ana, with whom he shared over 61 years of marriage. Their love was a true partnership, and they spent many nights Salsa dancing together. William was known for his loving and outgoing nature. His personality was warm, welcoming, and unforgettable. He made friends wherever he went and was well known by many in the community. Above all, William deeply loved his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness.

He is survived by his wife, Ana Gonzalez; his son, William Gonzalez, Jr.; his grandchildren, Samantha, Carina, and Miana Gonzalez; his great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Jayden, and Jayla Barrera; and his siblings, Enrique Gonzalez Rivera, Ana M. Gonzalez Rivera, and Santa Gonzalez.

Services are being held privately at the convenience of the family.
