William "Billy" J. Farnon, 66, of Gordonville, PA passed away on Friday, January 23, 2009 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was born on April 1, 1942 in Girardville, PA to the late William J. and Ellen (McLaughin) Farnon Gallagher.

Billy was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Billy was in the food and beverage industry and was known for his bartending skills at many well known restaurants around Lancaster. He was bar manager for his family at The Glass Kitchen at the Willows for twenty years and was bar manager for the Revere Tavern for the last four years.

Billy loved Nascar and football.

Billy was a graduate of Fordham University, New York.

He is survived by five cousins, Ann Schreder, Joseph and Robert Hollister all of Lancaster, Mary Lee Fullam of New York, and Brian Cantwell of California.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 11am with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as the Celebrant. There will be a viewing Tuesday morning at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 717-393-9661 from 9:30-10:30am. Final farewell and commendation will take place at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
