William J. Corbett, 76, of Lancaster Township, passed away on Tuesday, July 24 ^th in Lancaster.

He was the husband of Katharina "Kathee" I. Sagermann Corbett, with whom he had celebrated their 49 ^th wedding anniversary this past January 21 ^st . Born in Philadelphia, William was the son of the late William J, Sr. and Helen B. Drain Corbett.

William had worked as a sales representative for the Procter and Gamble Co for 37 years, retiring in 1999.

He was a member of St. Philip The Apostle Catholic Church, and was a 3 ^rd Degree Knight with Knights of Columbus Council 867.

William was a member of the Lancaster Liederkranz, attended LaSalle College in Philadelphia, and was a US Army veteran, serving in Germany as a Sergeant following World War II.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by a sister, Helen B. Kay of Barrington, RI, a brother, John H. married to Dorothy Corbett of Cheltenham, PA, and by many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leo F. Corbett.
