William M. Bowers, 66, of Lancaster, passed away on April 28, 2025 at his residence.

He was the husband of Deborah A. Rye Bowers, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage this past October 5th. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late William F. and Maria H. Renn Bowers.

Bill had worked as a supervisor for several local companies such as Lancaster Malleable for 12 years, Bristol Pipe for 20 years, and retiring from Superior Plastics after 12 years.

He was a US Navy veteran, serving as military security at a short stay military park from 1983 to 1986.

He enjoyed playing golf, was a big Philadelphia Eagles fan, enjoyed watching Penn State football, spending time with his family, and was a long-time member of the Lancaster Liederkranz.

In addition to his wife, Deborah, he is survived by his siblings: Kathy married to Steve Serences and John A. Bowers, both of Old Bridge, NJ, and by his nephew and niece, Anthony and Gabrielle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Funeral Service on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1PM at Riverview Burial Park, South Duke St., Lancaster, PA , with military honors to be rendered.
