William W. "Bill" Minney, 69, passed away April 25, 2018 at United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz, PA. He was born August 19, 1948 in Lancaster the son of the late Harold and Laberta (Duffy) Minney. He was a Tool and Die maker starting his career with Lancaster Tool and Die and retiring from Progressive Design and Machine. Bill was a man who never sat still and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed tinkering with things and yard work. Spending time with his family was what he enjoyed most, he cherished his grandchildren, and was especially dedicated to traveling to his granddaughter's softball games, until his illness wouldn't allow. He was very active in Lititz Youth Sports programs, such as football, softball, and baseball. Bill will be remembered as a practical jokester who always enjoyed a good laugh. Bill is survived by his loving family, wife, Vicki (Barto) Minney, Lititz, sons; Jon (Sandy) Minney, Manheim, Doug (Michelle) Minney, Lititz, daughter, Jessica (Jermaine) Minney, Lititz, grandsons; Casey, Dayne, Colin, Austin, granddaughters; Katelyn "Lefty", Madison, Ava, Brylee, and Star, two sisters; Fay and Lynn. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to United Zion Retirement Community Caring Fund.
