William P. Axe, 65, of Lititz, PA, passed away on February 7, 2018 at home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Joan (Archer) Schmidt & the late William P. Axe, Jr. William was the companion of 30 years to Bonnie L. Hauck. He is survived by a daughter, Veronica Poindexter, wife of Arthur Poindexter, Jr; step-children: Laura Hawkins, wife of Troy, Gary White, husband of Margarita, & Harry White; 9 grandchildren: Marqel, Nasheyla, Arthur, Andy, husband of Courtney, Brittnay, Cody, Gary, Christopher & Sky; 5 great-grandchildren: Mason, Lyla, Sofia, Jaxon, & Adeline; and siblings: John Fraunfelter & Jodi Hecker. A veteran, he served in the USMC during Vietnam. He retired as a truck driver from JJ Haines. William was a member of the IOOB Club, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
