William A. Greiner Jr., 75, of 1278 Wilson Ave., Lancaster, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lititiz, he was the son of the late William A. Sr. and Laura E. Luphold Greiner. William was the husband of Truyde Shanabrook Greiner and they were married for 52 years.

Mr. Greiner was a machine designer for 51 years at Armstrong World Industries, retiring in 2001. He served in the navy during the Korean Conflict.

His memberships included Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lancaster, Lancaster County Stamp Club, and the American Legion.  He enjoyed Model Railroads and trains.

Surviving besides his wife are three sons: William A. Greiner III, David W. Greiner, Richard A. Greiner , all of Lancaster., Three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 558  W. Walnut Street , Lancaster,  PA on  Monday  at 11:00AM. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may pay their respects to the family at the church on Monday from 10:00-11:00AM. Please omit flowers.
