Obituary

Willa K. Dempster, of Landisville, entered rest peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mount Joy surrounded by her loving family. Willa was born in New York, NY and raised in New Jersey. She resided in Landisville for the past 39 years and is survived by her husband of almost 57 years Donald W. Dempster.

In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters, Joyce John, wife of Greg, of Manchester, MO, Judy Helton, wife of Larry, of Summerdale, AL, and Janet Booth, wife of the late Todd, of Landisville. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Allison and Kevin John, Kristin Coleman, wife of Chad, Doug Fisher, Nate and Chris Booth. Five siblings also survive.

Willa worked for the former National Central Bank which is now Wells Fargo as a trust control officer for over 18 years. Formerly a homemaker, she was a member of the American Banking Womens Association and Highland Presbyterian Church.

She enjoyed watching Hempfield sports and particularly her grandchildren's sporting events.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Rd., Lancaster, PA with Rev. Ted Mingle officiating.
