Wilda Jean Drake, age 94, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025. Born in Orbisonia, PA., she was the daughter of the late G. Ralph and Jaynelle (Lane) Fleck.

Known for her adventurous spirit, Wilda was an avid turkey and deer hunter. Family and friends alike will fondly remember her remarkable culinary skills. Her signature dishes, such as marshmallow pie and homemade chicken noodle soup, brought joy to those who sat at her table.

Wilda is survived by her daughters: Shirley Bushong (wife of Dennis) of Lancaster and Judy Bowser of York; 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild as well as two sisters: Darlene and Dolores.

In addition to her parents, Wilda is preceded in death by her husband James Drake and daughter, Rowena.

A memorial service to honor Wilda will be held on July 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Hempfield Church of the Brethren, 1186 Stevens St, Manheim, PA 17545. Interment will be held privately by the family.
