Wendy C. (Gales) Stough, 54, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Catherine (Arasin) and William Gales, Sr. . She was the beloved wife of Charles "Chuck" Stough, with whom she shared 27 wonderful years of marriage.

Wendy was a woman with a kind heart, a gentle spirit, and a love for life's simple joys. She was a devoted member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where her quiet faith guided her through every chapter of life.

She spent many years caring for others as a nanny—a role she truly cherished. Her patience, warmth, and laughter left lasting impressions on every child she cared for and every family she met.

Wendy found beauty in the little things: the flutter of butterflies, the spotted wings of ladybugs, and the peace of the mountains, which she often called her happy place. She had an endless love for animals, always ready to lend a hand or a home to those in need.

In addition to her husband, Chuck, Wendy is survived by her siblings, Sandy Gales, and William Gales, Jr., husband of Michael Klein of Lititz; her cherished niece, Mackenzie Larkin and her aunts Althea Hillen wife of Tom and Alexis Arasin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.
