Warren I. Hemming, 79, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Earl and Dorothy (Mertz) Hemming. He was married to Lisa (Corradino) Hemming for over 39 years. Warren owned and operated his own business known as the Appliance Doctor. He was a man who could fix anything and would be there to help in any way possible. His passion was cars and he thoroughly enjoyed restoring them. He also loved dirt track racing and stock cars, and loved to fish and was an Alabama football fan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Cindy McComsey wife of Scott, Kathy Tucker wife of Mike, Tammy Lippart wife of Joe and Melissa Hemming companion of Arie Williams all of Lancaster. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, a brother, Dennis Hemming husband of Joan of West Palm Beach, FL, a sister, Virginia Woods wife of Willard of The Villages, FL and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Warren "Tink" Hemming and a brother, Devon Hemming. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will follow in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
