Obituary

Wanda L. Yoder, 80, of New Holland, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John and Alverdia (Schaller) Swenk. She was the wife of the late William E. Yoder who passed away in 1991. She is survived by a daughter, Kim Rowe; five grandchildren, Kirk Newcomer, Alaina Newcomer, Shane Rowe, Molly Stapleton, Katherine Stapleton, and companion, Chester Peachy. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Paige Stapleton. Wanda worked for over 38 years at RCA in Lancaster, she had a strong work ethic that is very rare these days. Wanda enjoyed many things, She loved the beach (even though she got sunburnt easily), she loved going to the mountains, she loved her gardening but most of all she loved taking care of her family. Wanda was perhaps the most thoughtful person ever. She made many sacrifices for the good of her family and never once complained. If her loved ones were happy, she was happy. Wanda was a great cook and her Chicken Pot Pie is legendary as were her Christmas cookies. Wanda is going to be extremely missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to have had her in their lives. A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.
