Walter J. Gebhard, 91, of Conestoga View, Lancaster, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016. He was born in Lancaster, PA and was the son of the late Harry and Ada Mae Gebhard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Gebhard in 2002. Walter began his career with the National Ball Bearings Company. He retired as an installer for Keener Installation after 30 years. Walter served his Country with the US Navy.

He enjoyed bowling and golfing in his free time.

He is survived by two sons, George Gebhard, of East Petersburg, Harry Gebhard of Lancaster, eight grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Wayne and Dan Gebhard.

Funeral Services will be Celebrated on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 11AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will be held from 10-11AM. Interment with Military Honors will be in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
