Obituary

Waldemar Vicente, 63, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024. Waldemar was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Ana Rivera. He worked as a machine operator for 40 years. He was known for his hard work and dedication. Waldemar was committed to providing for his family, a role he took immense pride in throughout his life.

A homebody at heart, Waldemar cherished the simple pleasures of being with his family and watching his favorite sports teams, the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He was passionate about sports and always made time to enjoy games with those closest to him. Above all, Waldemar deeply loved his grandchildren and treasured every moment with them.

Waldemar is survived by his children, Cindy Max Vicente, Sandy Rosa, and Monindelmar Vicente, and his stepchildren Odalis Rivera, Javier Rivera, Anibal Rivera Jr., and Antione King, as well as his grandchildren, Madison, Tookie, Ari, Christian, Joshua, Mya, Zya, Dominick, and Jioma. He is also survived by his siblings Jorge Vicente, Jose E. Vicente, Jose A. Vicente, Wilberto Vicente, Maira, and Nydia Yaquelin Vazquez. Waldemar is preceded in passing by his mother Carmen Rosario-Martines.

A funeral service will be held on October 4, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster PA, at 2 p.m., with a viewing one hour prior. Burial will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Waldemar's memory will live on through the love of his family and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
