Vongsay S. Phorasavong, 61, of Stevens passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Savannakhet, Laos he was the son of the late Seuy and Kaysone Phorasavong. He was the husband of Thongphoun Phorasavong.

He graduated from Luther College with a bachelor's degree in computer science. Vongsay worked as a programmer for Dormakaba for over 36 years. Vongsay enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Thongphoun, he is survived by two daughters: Tiphanie Phommahaxay wife of Alan of Ephrata, PA and Elizabeth Phorasavong fiancé of Jimmy Souvannarath of Mankato, MN. Also surviving are five grandchildren and his eight siblings: Outama Dethvongsa, Seumphone Ayavong, Beatrice Phorasavong, Bruce Wu, Seng Phorasavong, Pheophan Phorasavong, Vilayvanh Phorasavong and Jacqueline Skriba all of Illinois.

Buddhist Services will be held from 1-4PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA.
