Virginia D. (Nixon) Crim, 88, of Lancaster, died suddenly Sunday, February 9, 2014 in her residence. Born in Ridgeley, West Virginia, she was the wife of the late Steward W. Crim, who died December 27, 1983. She was the daughter of the late DeWitt and Ethel (Mullen) Nixon.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star #422 Donegal Chapter, and Loners of America, a group for those who have lost their spouses.
Virginia was of the Methodist faith. She was employed by RCA as a chief shop steward for 26 years until her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Michael W. Crim of Lancaster, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, February 14, 2014 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Services and burial in West Virginia will be private.
