Virginia K. "Ginny" Gerhart, 69, of Lititz, passed away on July 7, 2025.

She was the wife of Karl D. Gerhart, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage this past August. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late William G. Kauffman and Kay L. (Neff) Kauffman Dize.

Ginny had been a homemaker, and in years past, she had worked for First Federal Savings from 1974 to 1985 as well as other banking institutions. An active member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was involved in the Bible Study group, the Prayer Chain, and the Book Club.

Ginny enjoyed spending time in Florida, watching her kids and grandkids' activities, reading, playing cards and dining out with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Karl; her children, both of York: David Gerhart and his wife Holly Gerhart and Rebecca Gerhart and her husband Stephen Koullias; her beloved grandchildren Lillian and Benjamin; her siblings: William "Bill" Kauffman, Dorothy Kauffman, and Russell "Andy" Kauffman; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and several other "sons/daughters" who called her Mama G. She was preceded in death by her children Andrew and Jennifer, and her brother, Michael Kauffman.

Friends will be received by Ginny's family on Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 6-8PM at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10 Delp Rd. Lancaster, PA 17601 and again on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 10:30AM-12Noon, with the Memorial Service to follow at 12Noon. Interment will be private.
