Obituary

Virginia Lee (Baker) Trauger, 70, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Calvary Fellowship Home, Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of the late James D. Trauger, to whom she was married 23 years. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Whitaker) Baker. Virginia loved to bowl, dance, crochet, and knit. She especially enjoyed having a cold drink with her family. She was a former member of Otters. Virginia is survived by her children: Henry Hess of Lancaster; James Trauger II (Michelle) of Mountville; Dennis Weit of Wilmington, DE; Michael Hess and Tina McElrath, both of Lancaster; Eric Weit of Wilmington, DE; Dennis "DJ" Hess of Lancaster; Matthew Trauger of Orlando, FL; and Jennifer Trauger Holden of Lititz; 22 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by twins Edward and Denise Hess; and a brother, John Baker. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster with Pastor Mark Thiboldeaux officiating. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
