Vincent E. Braungard, 69, of Lititz, passed away at home on Wed. July 7, 2010. He was born in Lancaster to the late George and Catherine (Myers) Braungard.

He was a 1959 Lancaster Catholic graduate and St. Joseph Catholic Church member.

Vincent was a postal clerk for 35 years for the US Postal Service.

He was a member of the Lancaster Corvette Club.

Surviving is a son, Christopher, husband of Melody, of Ephrata, two daughters, Deborah Whitman, of Lititz, and Melissa Showalter, wife of Justin, of Lancaster, a brother, William, husband of Rosalie, of Mountville, 4 grandchildren, Angela, Amy, Jesse, Kaitlyn, 1 great grandchild, Ayelin, a former wife, Harriet (Musselman) Braungard. He was preceded in death by a son, John.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church 440 St. Joseph St. on Tuesday, July 13 at 11am with The Rev. Msgr. Thomas Smith as Celebrant. A visitation will be at the church from 10-11am. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
