Victoria "Toddy" Lombardo Baldori Kenific, 95, formerly of 1673 Susan Ave. passed away Monday, January 21, 2008 at Mennonite Home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Saverio and Elizabeth (Cassido) Lombardo. Victoria was married to Annunzio John Baldori who predeceased her in 1961 and William S. Kenific who predeceased her in 1991.
Early on in Toddy's life she worked for Stahley's Silk Mill. Toddy then moved onto her passion which was cooking at her brothers restaurant, Lombardo's for 50 years retiring at the age of 85. Victoria enjoyed cooking and was recognized in the Lancaster News Paper as the chef of the month for her authentic Italian family recipes. Toddy was a life time member and very involved with her church St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Most of all she loved being with her family.
Victoria is survived by 4 children, Barbara J. Russell (Robert Del Bianco) of Elmira, NY; Robert V. Baldori husband of Marianne of Lancaster; Donna wife of Joseph King of Whitehouse Station, NJ; Angela wife of Paul Ahnert of Willow Street. 13 Grandchildren; Angela, Carol, Steven, Charles, Lisa, Donna, Toni, Lara, Joseph, Eric, Nina, Melissa, and Jacob. 19 Great-Grandchildren and a sister Anna Lombardo of Lititz.
She is predeceased by 4 Brothers; James, David, Joseph, and Nicholas. 2 Sisters Mary Caterbone and Caroline Lalli.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 501 East Orange Street Lancaster, PA 17602 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as celebrant. Friends may attend the viewing on Friday, January 25 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9-10:15 a.m. at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz 17543. The interment will take place at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
