Victor M. DeJesus, 69, of Lancaster, passed away on September 5, 2017 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Victor Olivera Cortes & Guillermina DeJesus. Victor was the loving husband of Maria DeJesus. He collected coins, enjoyed bird watching and was a music enthusiast. He graduated from Alvernia University in 1998 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Addiction Studies. Victor's passion was his career at SACA helping people recover from drugs & alcohol. Surviving in addition to his wife, Maria, are children: Guillermina M. DeJesus and Victor M. DeJesus Jr, both of Lancaster; 5 grandchildren; and siblings: Elisa Cortes DeJesus, Magdalena Paris and Eduardo Paris. Victor was preceded in death by 2 children: Leyda DeJesus & Victor Cox; and a brother Jose E. Paris. A Viewing will take place from 6-8 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602. Viewing will continue from 2-3 PM on Friday, September 8 with a Funeral Service to begin at 3 PM at the funeral home.
