Verona M. Kohr, 94, of Lewes, DE, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at The Moorings at Lewes. Born in Lebanon, PA she was the daughter of the late Paul and June (Albright) Longenecker. She was married to Jack M. Kohr for over 60 years before his passing in 2012.

She worked as a cafeteria aide for the School District of Lancaster for several years.

Verona is survived by her two children: Glenn M. Kohr, husband of Carole of Lewes, DE, and Susan M., wife of Ed Rankin of Millsboro, DE; Verona's daughter-in-law, Cheryl A. Kohr of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Christopher, Stephanie, Amanda, and Kelsei, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott M. Kohr.
