Verna M. Wiker, 94, of Lancaster, entered into rest on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.

She was the wife of the late Edward B. Wiker, who passed away in 1986. Born in Monterey, Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Ira K. and Lula E. Bleacher Denlinger.

Verna had been a homemaker and a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity in Lancaster.

She is survived by her daughters: Phyllis J. married to Mervin R. Hemperly of Lancaster and Charmaine W. Kaltrider, wife of the late Denton W. Kaltrider, of Buffalo, NY; her 2 grandsons, Mark and Scott Kaltrider, 2 other grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Jere D. Wiker and her 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
