Vera R. Wimpling, 85, of Lancaster, PA passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016. She was the wife of the late William A. Wimpling. Born in Baltimore, MD she was a daughter of the late William F. and Mary (Holmes) McGinnis. Vera was an excellent cook and her specialty was making her own spaghetti. She also loved trying new cuisines, painting with water colors, was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed spending time with her family. Vera was Roman Catholic by faith. She is survived by her daughter Victoria M. Chance of Lancaster, PA; two grandchildren Adam Jason Chance and Megan Jennifer Chance; two great-grandchildren MaryLin and Raylin Chance. Vera's youngest daughter Veronica Pacitti preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister Sharon Ritch of Baltimore, MD. Vera was preceded in death by two brothers William and Robert McGinnis. Private memorial services were held at the convenience of her family.
