Vanessa Ann Schoener, 87, of Lancaster, passed away at Neffsville Nursing and Rehab on Tuesday June 21, 2022. Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur A. and Mary (Davis) Maynard.

Vanessa was a homemaker and a devout Christian. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Myerstown, PA, where she regularly attended for 30+ years. She was also a devoted mother and grandmother and her highest priority in life was her children and grandchildren.

Vanessa is survived by her children Dale Schoener and Lynn Hathaway (husband, Ed); her grandchildren Jason Waltermeyer (wife, Stacy), Jessica Waltermeyer, and Jennifer Folk; her great-grandchildren Ezra and Jasper; and her sister Amanda Maynard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Rand Maynard and Jimmy Maynard.

A Viewing will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will immediately follow. Committal will take place after services at Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery.
