Tyree Jamal White, 21, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Spruce Manor of West Reading. He was the son of Daretta Preston and Elpea White, Jr.

He was born in Alcolu, South Carolina on June 1, 1987

Tyree attended Conestoga Valley High School.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by five brothers, Terrance McCain, Elpea T. White, Tevyn L. White, Temiek R.White, and Daniel J. Frazier all of Lancaster, a maternal grandfather Robert H. Coward of Lancaster, and paternal grandmother Gracie James of Manning, SC, maternal great-grandmother Willamena Preston of Lancaster, a step-father Eric Poindexter of Lancaster, and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother Madelyn Preston Dixon of Lancaster.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Services from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 717-393-9661 on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 12noon. There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 10am-12noon. Interment will be take place from Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
