IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tyler Glen
"Ty" Oravec
April 7, 2018
Tyler Glen "Ty" Oravec, 26, of Lititz , passed away on April 7, 2018 after his lengthy battle with the disease of addiction finally ended. Ty peacefully entered into life eternal while being surrounded by his family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Roger Oravec and Kimberly (Yuko) Oravec.
Ty was a man of passion and had a gentle soul. His adventurous spirit led him to find the most pleasure spending time outdoors where he could be found during all seasons. Hunting was his true passion- especially archery season. He also loved fishing, dirt biking, snowboarding, and in earlier years playing the guitar.
Family was incredibly important to him and he always looked forward to family get- togethers which often occurred. Ty adored his nieces and nephews and loved his infant son, Adam, more than anything. Ty will be lovingly missed by all of his family and will remembered for his fearless attitude and his gorgeous smile that could light up any room. The loss of Ty is unmeasurable but so is the love left behind.
Ty was a 2009 graduate of Warwick High School and the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center and he most recently worked as a skilled mason. He also attended St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lititz.
Ty will be lovingly missed by his parents; Roger and Kimberly Oravec, his son; Adam Tyler Oravec, his girlfriend; Stephanie Engelman; his sister; Johnna (John) McCormick, and his brother; Shane (Lizzie) Oravec. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Camryn, Grace, Mason, and Logan McCormick, grandparents; John and Kaye Yuko, and many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents Helen and Albert Oravec.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff at Ephrata Community Hospital for their compassionate care during this difficult time as well as Pastor Irvin Straw of St. Paul's Church who provided us with ongoing support throughout the ordeal. Ty was an organ donor and participated in the Gift of Life.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church located at 200 W. Orange St., Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received prior to the service from 9:30AM to 11:00AM. Following the service, guests are welcome to stay for a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Adam Tyler Oravec, 855 Ballstown Road, Lititz, PA 17543 (to be held in trust) or donations can be made online by going to https://www.gofundme.com/adam-tyler-oravec-trust-fund .
