Tillie A. Griel, 81, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. Sr. and Charlotte Lottie Stapf Dyer. Tillie was a salesperson with Turkey Hill for 20 years, previously she worked for Sener Coal Co as an accountant, Hotel Brunswick as a hostess, Maxwell's and owned Griel Candle and Gift Shop on Columbia Ave., Lancaster. To celebrate her 75 ^th birthday, she had a Hot Air Balloon Ride and in October to celebrate her 81 ^st birthday, she had a ride in a motorcycle side car. Tillie enjoyed doing scrapbooking.

Surviving is a sister: Edna M. Hanrahan of Muncy, PA, a brother: Charles M. Sr. husband of Myrtle Dyer of Lancaster, PA; nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her niece and caretaker, Shirley Shimp. She was preceded in death by a sister Gertrude E. Dyer Richer.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George Street, Millersville, PA on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Riverview Burial Park. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m..
