Thomas M. Shay, 77, of Lancaster, passed away on October 13, 2025, at 1:47PM surrounded by his wife of 48 years, Colette Shay and daughter, Brandie McAllister.

Thomas was a proud Vietnam Veteran who honorably served in both the United States Navy and the National Guard. He was a lifelong circus and train enthusiast and took great pride in his extensive collection that reflected his passion. Thomas was also a big animal lover. He dedicated many years as a Cub and Boy Scout leader for Troop 16 through St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Thomas was known for his kind heart and gentle spirit that he shared with everyone.

He is also survived by an estranged son, TJ Shay; two brothers, Michael and Patrick Shay; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Helen Shay and his sister, Sheila Shay.

Interment is being held privately at the convenience of the family.
