Thomas D. Murray, Jr. 81, of Lititz, PA passed away on June 8, 2016 at Luther Acres. He was the husband of Alice (Brubaker) Murray to whom he was married for 14 years, and the late Daisy (Lawson) Murray. Born in Spring City, PA he was a son of the late Thomas D. Sr. and Mary (Bauer) Murray. Tom was a 1954 graduate of Thaddeus Stevens Trade School. He was employed by Hamilton Technology as a proposal coordinator and project manager, and retired in 1990 after 36 years. Tom was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his retirement, he also spent many hours golfing and woodworking. Tom was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Wellsboro, PA Lodge 1147 where he was a past governor. He was also a past president of the Lancaster CB Club. In addition to his wife, Alice, he is survived by his son, Thomas D. Murray, III husband of Ava of Leola, PA; two grandchildren: Thomas D. Murray, IV husband of Valerie of Alexandria, VA and Maryann wife of Kyle Greenholt of York, PA; and sister-in-law, Betty Murray. Tom was preceded in death by his infant son John D, daughter Annette Snyder and a brother, George Murray. Friends will be received from 10:30-11:30 am on Saturday, June 18, 2016 with a Memorial Service to follow at Luther Acres, Community Room, 600 E. Main St, Lititz, PA 17543.
