Thieu Van Dang, 90, of East Hempfield, Lancaster, PA, died on May 9, 2012 at home with his family. Born in Vietnam, he was the son of the late Quy Thuc and Tra (Thi) Dang. He is survived by his wife Bao Thi (Pham) Dang.

He was a Civil Service Employee for the Government of Republican Vietnam.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are four children; two sons, Thao Dang, husband of Mai Dung, of East Petersburg, Thuy Dang, of Carlisle, two daughters, Quynh Dang, of Lancaster, and My Dang, wife of David Bretz, Jr., of Middletown, two grandchildren, Thomas Dang and Christine, wife of David Vaughn, and a great grandchild, Daniel Vaughn. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Trang Dang.

Buddhist Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 19 2012 at 10AM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Viewings will be held on Friday, May 18 from 4-8PM and again from 9-10AM both at the funeral home. Cremation will follow with a Buddhist Ceremony at the adjoining Snyder Crematory.
