Theresa M. Matthew, 67, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at home, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness. She was born on June 22, 1948 in Lancaster to the late John and Agnes (Kubala) Kieley. Theresa grew up in Lancaster and graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School. She worked for over 40 years for Hamilton Watch, Bulova Technology, and retired from L3 Communications in 2013. Theresa was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed the beach and gardening and poured all her love into her family and friends. She was a caring and compassionate person with a generous soul. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loyal friend and will be missed deeply by all who knew her. Theresa is survived by a daughter, Diana (Mike) Long, of Manheim, a son, David (Heidi) Kneisley, of Willow Street; two grandchildren, Dana and Lauren Kneisley; six siblings: Barbara (Jim) Underhill; Cathi Goncalves; Elizabeth Harting; Mary Jane Murr; Susan Bowser; Paul (Grace) Kieley; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives. Theresa was preceded in death by a brother, John J. Kieley, Jr. and two sisters, Patricia Alexander and Margaret Kieley. Funeral Services for Theresa will be held at 11AM, on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will be held from 10AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
