Theresa M. Giordano, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Ephrata Manor. She was 92. Born in Lancaster on June 26, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. Sr. and Theresa Spidle. She was the dedicated wife of Joseph D. Giordano, for nearly 69 years until his passing in June of 2022.

She attended J. P. McCaskey High School and was an x-ray technician for St. Joseph Hospital. After she and Joseph were married, she was a dedicated wife and mother and her world revolved around her family. Tess, as she was affectionately known, was an avid reader, and enjoyed swimming, walking, sports and travel.

Her love will live on with her son, Joseph Jr. and daughter-in-law Karen, as well as a granddaughter Kimberly, all of Millersville. She was preceded in passing by her parents, her husband Joseph, and brother, Harry L. Spidle, Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 9, 2024, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603, with Father Lawrence Sherdel as Celebrant. A viewing will take place at the church from 9:30 – 11 AM. Interment will be private. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the staff of Ephrata Manor for their compassion and care for Tess over the last 4 years.
