Rev. Theodore A. Sauvé, 84, of Lancaster, PA, formerly of Greensburg, Pa, and Canada, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 16, 2023. Born in San, French Soudan, West Africa, now known as Mali, on November 11, 1938, he was the son of the late Firmin and Emma (Allison) Sauvé.

He was a member of the Greensburg Alliance Church, and then Lancaster Alliance Church after moving to Lancaster. He served as a pastor and a missionary to Ecuador for over 40 years with the Christian and Missionary Alliance Canada and U.S.

Ted graduated from the former Canadian Bible College. He enjoyed reading, preaching the word of God, and helping others. His one hobby away from the church was attending car shows to gaze upon classic cars.

Ted is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Webb Sauvé of Greensburg; three sons, David (Amy) Sauvé of Ohio, Paul (Kristin) Sauvé of Lancaster, Mark (Michelle) Sauvé of Arizona; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bev (Craig) Singer of Florida, Ruth (Ian) Bullochian of Vancouver, and Judy (Dennis) Heibert of Winnipeg; and 11 nieces and nephews.

Rev. Sauvé's family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Road, Lancaster, PA 17601.

A second memorial service will take place at 4 pm on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Greensburg Alliance Church, 4428 Route 136, Greensburg, PA 15601. Rev. Sauvé's family will receive friends from 3:30 to 4:00 pm.

Interment will be private.
