Theodore M. Robinson, Jr. 67, of Lancaster passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at home. Born in Coatesville, PA he was the son of the late Theodore M., Sr. and Lillian (Curry) Robinson.

He was a 1964 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. He went onto receive his Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and later graduated from Penn State University with a Master's degree in Sociology. Theo went onto work for the state government in Harrisburg for many years and also worked for the city of Coatesville and also Lancaster with the zoning board. An avid runner, he was a member of the Lancaster Road Runner group. Theo was also an avid artist, writer and poet and was well known for his work here in Lancaster.

He is survived by two sons, Matthew Robinson, husband of Rebecca, of Lebanon, PA, Michael Robinson of San Francisco, CA, One daughter, Lynn Parker of Annapolis, MD. Also surviving is a sister, Theresa F. Robinson, of Lancaster; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Roslyn and Joyce Robinson.

Home Going Services will be at 11AM on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Brightside Baptist Church, 515 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603 with the Rev. Louis A. Butcher, Jr. officiating. A viewing will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA from 6-8PM and again at church on Tuesday from 10-11AM.
