Theodore "Ted" P. Marrie, 82, passed away quietly on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the Golden Living Center, Doylestown, PA. Born in Lancaster, Ted was the son of the late Thomas J. and Eveyln J. (Duggan) Marrie. He was the loving husband of Karen (Porter) Marrie. After graduating from Lancaster Catholic High School, Ted served four years in the U. S. Navy. He then went on to attend Franklin and Marshall College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Ted was employed by Bendix Corporation as a Research Engineer. Ted was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed golfing and reading science magazines and periodicals. In addition to his wife, Ted is survived by two sisters: Joan M. Zeberlein, wife of George, of Annapolis, MD and Loretta Geubtner, wife of Ed, of Southampton, PA. He was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd "Bud" T. Marrie. Funeral Services for Ted will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ted's name to Golden Living Center of Doylestown, 432 Maple Ave., Doylestown, PA 18901.
