Thelma R. Pickell, 88, of Landisville and formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024.

She was the wife of the late Donald C. Pickell, who passed away in 2009. Born in Paradise, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Kathryn Geiter Rynier.

Thelma had worked for several years as a receptionist for CoreSource in Lancaster. She had also been a homemaker and had worked at The Willows Restaurant, formerly on Rt 30.

She was a past longtime member of Faith EC Church in Lancaster.

Thelma loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, taking them places and spoiling them. She loved her dogs, Bella and Sophie, and was very proud of the care and training she gave to them.

She is survived by her children: Robert married to Ellen Pickell of West Chester, Susan Weaver married to Anthony DeVito of Landisville, James married to Kathy Pickell of Denver, Karen married to Jeffrey Fishburn of Landisville, and Jeffrey Pickell and Kathy Krick of Reading; and by her 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Services on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 2PM at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 Second Lock Rd., Lancaster, PA.
