Thelma N. Holbritter, 96 of Lancaster formerly of Franklin Street Apartments in Ephrata died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Lancashire Hall in Lancaster. Born in Leighton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth Barnes Zellers. She was the wife of the late Norman J. Holbritter who died in 1980.

Thelma was a homemaker and previously worked at the National Biscuit Company in New York for 10 years.

She liked to sew and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is a son: James P. husband of Helena C. Holbritter, Ephrata, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, William H. Holbritter and twelve brothers and sisters. She was the oldest of thirteen children and the last to die.

Funeral Services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, Pa on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 12:00Noon with Rev. David Kreider officiating. Interment will follow at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, Millersville, PA. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00-12:00 PM. Please omit flowers.
