Terry B. Ressler, 69, of Conestoga, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Ephrata, PA, Terry was the son of the late Ira B. and Minerva Wingenroth Ressler. A renowned horse trainer, Terry operated Ressler's Training Stables in Conestoga for many years. His expertise in horse training began soon after birth (Pop had him on a horse as soon as he could), spanned throughout his lifetime and will continue into eternity. He co-founded the Susquehanna Valley Reining Assn and was an active member of the National Reining Horse Assn., the American Quarter Horse Assn., the Pennsylvania Quarter Horse Assn., and the American Paint Horse Assn.

He is survived by his two children: Lisa A. Ressler married to David M. Guhl of Willow Street and Thomas P. married to Jessica Klopp Ressler of Reinholds and by his two loving grandchildren, Kennedy Ressler and Alana Ressler. He was preceded in death by his son Steve B. Ressler, brothers Richard and Ronald Ressler and his sisters Betty Spotts and Flossie Goshert.

Friends will be received by his family on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 9-11AM at the Lititz United Methodist Church 201 E. Market St., Lititz PA  17543, with a Time of Sharing and Celebration of Terry's life to follow at 11AM.
