Teresa A. "Terry" Myers, 81, of Lancaster passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016. She was the loving wife of John H. Myers to whom she was married for 62 years. Born in Armagh, Ireland she was the daughter of the late Mary Ellen (Donnelly) Toomey. Teresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by her family. She was catholic by faith and was very family oriented. Teresa took part in her own card writing ministry for 20 years as a way to connect and show others she cared for them, loved photography and was an avid reader. In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her children Teresa A., wife of Melvin J. "Sonny" Kreider of Lancaster, Ellen E., wife of Blake Werner of Broken Arrow, OK, Colleen M. Myers and John H. Myers, Jr. husband of Jennifer both of Lancaster; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Christian Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 11AM from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St. Millersville, PA 17551 with Fr. Lawrence W. Sherdel officiating. Interment will be private. A visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of her service at the funeral home.
