Tan X. Nguyen, 61, of Lancaster, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on December 5, 2020. Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, he was the son of the late Thinh Van Nguyen and Lan Thi Hoang. He recently celebrated his 32nd wedding anniversary to Hien Tran.

Tan will be fondly remembered for his care and dedication to his family. He enjoyed cooking for them daily and finding new recipes to master from YouTube. He also enjoyed keeping his own personal garden, where he grew herbs and vegetables of Vietnam.

He will be remembered as a man of few words. While he did not verbally express his emotions, he displayed in other ways his care and devotion for Hien and Thanh.

He is survived by his loving wife, Hien Tran and son, Thanh Nguyen, both of Lancaster.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. A viewing will be held from 9AM until the time of the service and until 12PM, following the service.
