Suzanne L. Tunis, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at her residence. Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Greider. Suzanne was the loving wife of Frank L. Tunis. She was employed by Lancaster General Hospital as a Registered Nurse and also worked for Visiting Nurses Association. She was a 1985 graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor's degree in Education. While at West Chester University, she was part of the Equestrian Team. She also graduated from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. Suzanne enjoyed reading all types of books and magazines. She also wrote bedtime stories for her son, Paul. In her free time she could also be found sewing, cooking or gardening flowers and vegetables. Surviving in addition to her husband is one son, Paul A. Tunis, husband of Jessica. She is also survived by her siblings: Mary Elizabeth Henning, George W. Greider and John C. Greider and a niece, Elizabeth Henning. She was preceded in death by a brother, Martin H. Greider Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral ceremony at 2pm on Sunday April 9, 2017 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A visitation will be held from 1:30-2pm.
