Obituary

Susan A. Sensenich, 81, of Lancaster, PA died at home on June 24, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late William G. and Jane E. Azer, she was the wife of Gary Sensenich, married August 5, 1967.

As a licensed funeral director of 22 years, her personal mission was “to learn your needs and serve you to the best of my ability”. She was Supervisor of the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, Lititz then worked as funeral support staff following retirement in May 2011.

Previously, she was Director and teacher at Apostles Community Preschool for 13 years. She taught first grade at Creswell Elementary School following her graduation from Elizabethtown College in 1967. Susan received her Master’s Degree in Reading from Temple University in 1972. In 1991, she received a Certificate of Funeral Service from Northampton Community College.

Surviving besides her husband are her two children: Steven Sensenich, Lafayette Hill, PA, and Jennifer, Lancaster, PA, wife of Charles Hall and by two granddaughters: Kayla and Stephanie Hall. She enjoyed spending time in Ocean City, NJ.

Funeral services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 2:00 with Reverend William Worley officiating. Interment will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park. Viewing will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00.
