Susan (Landis) Rudy, 94, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017 at Manor Care where she had resided the last four years. Born in Lancaster, Susan was the only child of William McKinley and Susan Rebecca (Edwards) Landis. She was married for 50 years to the late George H. Rudy. A mid-1940's graduate of McCaskey High School, she enjoyed going to Central Market, listening to music, and playing the organ. A homemaker, Susan was a member of First United Methodist Church for 85 years, since she was 9 years old. She was a soprano soloist in the junior choir at the church, from 9 to 12 years old. Susan was a member of the American Bible Society and a lifetime member of the National Audubon Society. She is survived by several cousins and nieces. It was her wish that no formal services be held.
