Susan Lee Meals, 70, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Born in Johnstown, she was the daughter to the late Betty L. (Arnold) and William D. Meals.

She was a member of the Lancaster Moravian Church, where she was active in the choir and fellowship of the congregation. For over 35 years, she volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital. Having inherited her father's explorer gene, Susan was an adventurous traveler, especially enjoying Ireland and participating in bus trips. She loved to laugh and enjoyed old television shows. Her strong and determined spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Susan is survived by her siblings: Linda Zimmerman (Jay) of Gettysburg; William D. Meals of Indiana; and Laurie Vance of Millersville; her nieces: Erin, Lauren, Heather and Brittany as well as her nephew Mason.

A Funeral Service will be held at 5PM on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at The Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 N. George Street, Millersville, PA 17551. Susan's family will receive friends from 4-5PM prior to the service. Interment will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Green Mount Cemetery, York, PA.
