Susan C. Nolt, 70, of Mount Joy, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at Mount Joy Hospice Center.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John Musser Nolt and Ethel Hattie (Jones) Nolt.

Susan was a graduate of the Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing and went on to obtain her B.S. in Nursing from Elizabethtown College, followed by post-graduate work at National Hospital Queen Square in London.  She then earned her Master's degree in Business Administration from Loyola College.  She was named in "Who's Who in American Nursing" by the Society of Nursing Professionals.  After working in the nursing field for many years, she was employed as the Senior Operations Consultant for PHI, Camp Hill.

Her hobbies included traveling, reading and music.  She was devoted to her dogs, Molly and Peggy Lou.  She was a past member of the Lancaster County Red Rose Toastmasters.

Susan attended Church of the Apostles, Lancaster, where she was active in the Stephen Ministry and Welcome Center.

She is survived by her extended family and many friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Church of the Apostles, 1850 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA  17603 with Rev. Kathryn Kuhn officiating.  Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be private.
