Steven Joel Stutzman, 55, of Salunga, died unexpectedly Friday, March 25, 2016 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lititz. Born in Schuylkill County, he was the son of Joel and Carol (Willier) Stutzman of Lancaster.

He attended Penn State University and served 4 years in the Air Force. He was employed as a Quality Assurance Manager over the years, most recently for Raytheon Corp. in York County.

Steve was an active member of Ironville UMC and deeply loved his church family. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping at the family cabin. He especially adored his daughter Alyssa and his nieces and nephews. Steve was a very kind, caring, and conscientious person and will be truly missed by many.

In addition to his parents and daughter, Steve is survived by two brothers: James S., married to Kerry and Joel A., married to Santina; one sister, Julie A., married to Jeffrey Milne; 4 nephews; and 5 nieces.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Ironville UMC, 4020 Holly Dr, Columbia, PA 17512 with Rev. Charles Deutsch officiating. Friends will be received from 9:30 AM to 11 AM prior to the service at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
