Steve Parham (Pop-Pop), 61, of Mountville (PA) formerly of Raleigh, NC died Tuesday September 16, 2008 two days shy of his 62 nd birthday after a very long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Born in Raleigh, NC he was the son of the late Edna and Clarence Parham. He was the adored and loving husband of Arlene Wilson Parham with whom he would have celebrated 24 years of marriage on 11/23/08.
Steve was known for his quick wit and always made everyone around him laugh. He loved sports, particularly baseball and golf. He was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Gregory H. Parham husband of Tracey, Jacksonville FL, a daughter Andrea T Fischer, wife of Dennis, Marietta (PA) and a brother Russell (Pete) Parham, husband of Sharon, Pinkerton OH.
Steve adored and loved to brag about his grandsons, Gabriel, Zachary, Logan, Hayden, and due next month, Nathaniel, whom he named. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Harrison.

A Christian Prayer Service will be held Friday, September 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 441 N. George St. Millersville, PA 17551 with Rev. Antony Raja as celebrant.
