Stephen C. Weiss, 62, of Lancaster, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Steve shared 10 years of marriage with his wife Tricia L. (White) Weiss.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late George W. Weiss, Sr., and Fay M. (Lefever) Weiss. Steve attended Lancaster Catholic High School and Penn Manor High School.

He worked for Millersville University as a carpenter for over 25 years before retiring in 2021. Steve then worked in maintenance for Columbia Borough.

Steve enjoyed working in his garden and canning vegetables that he grew. Steve was the life of the party. He followed dirt track racing, enjoyed fishing, road his Harley in his younger years, and cheered for the Oakland Raiders, New Jersey Devils, and Chicago Cubs. A heavily relied-on handyman, Steve could fix anything for his family and friends.

Steve's family includes his wife Tricia, sister Cathy Geiser, wife of Jeffrey of Mountville, nephews, George Weiss, III, husband of Kris of Hudson, NY, Joe Geiser of Lancaster, John Geiser of Lancaster, Travis Buzzard, husband of Lena, and Mitch Buzzard, husband of Katie, several great-nieces and great-nephews, mother-in-law Diann White, sister-in-law Michelle Hughes, bother-in-law David Hughes, and his rescue poodle Ivy.

In addition to parents, Steve was preceded in death by his brother George W. Weiss, Jr.
