Stephen E. Sugar, 83, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on March 3, 2024 at Kadima Nursing and Rehab Center in Lititz.

He was the wife of Marie A. Dillon Sugar. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Harold and Anna Rosenweig Sugar.

Stephen had worked as a long-time training office for the United States Federal Government, in the Office of Personnel Management.

A US Coast Guard veteran, he served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969 as a Lt.

Stephen had been of the Jewish faith.

In addition to his wife, Marie, he is survived by his sons: Jason Sugar of Massachusetts and Michael Sugar of Lancaster; his 2 step children Kimberly Glyder of Philadelphia and Matt Glyder of Maryland, and by his 9 grandchildren. Stephen was preceded in death by his brother, Bert Sugar.
